Overview
The role of contracting operations management is a crucial one in the smooth running of projects within the construction industry. This is a Level 6 NVQ assessment, and is best suited to those who are already in charge of people on site and have to make important decisions as part of their daily role.
Successfully achieving this assessment will enable you to be recognised as possessing all of the skills necessary to complete this NVQ assessment - an industry-recognised standard of qualification. Since the recent updates to the Construction Design Management Regulations, workers, supervisors and managers have to now be competent, qualified and able to prove the skills they possess are in accordance with regulations. That’s where this NVQ assessment can help you prove you have the skills and knowledge that you need to work in this sector.
When it comes to assessing candidates, Q2W have experienced assessors on hand to help. One of our assessors will visit you on site to complete your induction and provide an analysis of what you require. From this, a delivery plan will be acknowledged and agreed. Our industry assessors will review all of the necessary evidence, ensuring you can validate your skills in a successful manner.
To achieve this Level 6 assessment, you must have a strong understanding of all the requirements and knowledge necessary, as well as excellent industry knowledge. This will include the ability to make decisions that require the correct judgement throughout any project, to solve problems efficiently, and to transfer and adapt the skills you use on a daily basis to a variety of on-site scenarios.
