Overview
Conflict, for many, is all too familiar. In the workplace it can become an issue as teams are under increased pressures. Despite this most of us lack even basic conflict management skills. Rather than react on a purely emotional level, you can learn how to manage conflicts, disputes and disagreements in a positive manner, or even avoid them altogether.
Description
This course will show you how to recognize the stages and causes of conflict. You will learn skills to help you critically evaluate conflict situations and then choose the appropriate strategies and tools to manage and/or resolve them. You’ll also develop a much greater awareness of your own emotional triggers and how to control them. In addition, you will learn how to deal with other's behaviours in a professional, non-judgemental manner.
