The fully online CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is a comprehensive and in-depth course that will give you the strategic skills and knowledge you need to become a Chartered Manager and excel in leadership roles.

The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management & Leadership is made up of nine elective modules. You’ll choose a selection of modules to study that must add up to a minimum of 37 credits.

The modules you can choose from are as follows:

• Principles of Management and Leadership in an Organisational Context (7 credits)

• Principles of Developing, Managing and Leading Individuals and Teams to Achieve Success (6 credits)

• Managing Performance (5 credits)

• Managing Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (5 credits)

• Principles of Delivering Coaching and Mentoring (5 credits)

• Managing Projects to Achieve Results (6 credits)

• Managing Change (4 credits)

• Using Data and Information for Decision Making (5 credit)

• Using Reflective Practice to Inform Personal and Professional Development (5 credits)

You will also complete one written assignment of 3,000-4,000 words for each module you study.

The CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership is for those who are:

You don’t need any formal qualifications to take the CMI Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership, but you must be at least 18.

If English is your second language, we recommend you have an IELTS 6 or equivalent. If you don’t have this, we’ll review your case on an individual basis.
