The study of the psychological processes of children from childhood to adolescence is called Child Psychology. The focus of the study is on how the psychological processes of children are different to that of adults, the developmental processes of a child from its time of birth to when they reach adolescence and how and why each child is unique. Child psychology is a key branch of developmental psychology.
