Study Hours

  • The learning hours for this course are up to 150 hours, which is around 30 minutes per day for 12 months.

Course Duration

  • On average, students complete this course in 10 months, but we'll give you up to 24 months. Don’t worry if you go over the year though, we can organise an extension to your course for an additional fee, which also extends your tutor support.


Assessment

    You can enrol now for examinations from Summer 2025.

    You’ll be required to complete two IGCSE standard written exams.

    Exams

    • Written exam, two hours, 61.1% of your IGCSE, 110 marks.
    • Written exam: 1 hour 15 minutes, 38.9% of your IGCSE, 70 marks.

    The exams contain a mixture of different question styles, including multiple-choice questions, short-answer questions, calculations and extended open-response questions.

    We provide a guaranteed exam space in one of our partner exam centres around the UK.

    Assignments

    During your course, you’ll be required to complete various assignments. These do not contribute towards your final grade but provide you with an opportunity to submit work to your tutor for marking and feedback. This will help you to monitor your progress.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
