Overview

The “Certified Brand Manager” program is designed to increase the effectiveness of brand managers and others involved in marketing products and/or brands.

Description

The workshop provides tools and knowledge for developing, strengthening and maintaining a brand or portfolio of brands.

It covers:

  • The roles and responsibilities of brand management;

  • How these evolve over time, the key organisational interfaces, and the use of the classical Marketing “Ps” to strengthen a brand.

  • The different levels of the brand (e.g., elements, attributes, personality & core values)

  • How each plays an important role in developing & maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Overall, the course will provide insights into achieving the ultimate payoff by maximising brand equity and brand value. The exam at the end of the course will help you meet all the prerequisites to become a “Certified Brand Manager”.

Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
