Overview

Certificate in Acupressure for Psychiatric Disorders & Epileptic Conditions

Want to have skills that could earn you the skills of saving lives? Learn to treat life-threatening psychiatric and physical disorders with Acupressure.

Sometimes we might get into situations where we feel helpless because we want to ease someone’s pain but we just don’t know how to do that. With acupressure, however, one can learn to cure or calm any kinds of psychiatric disorders or physical conditions that, in some cases, could even be fatal. If someone near you fainted or collapsed from exhaustion or had a stroke, you can use a specific point to immediately activate the nervous system. This point also helps in clearing congestion and irritation in the nose due to hay fever. It also relieves breathing difficulties caused by allergies. Sneezing, runny nose, sinus problems and dizziness can be improved by pressing this point. The point is also helpful in improving concentration and reducing food cravings. Could you have imagined that one pressure point in our body could do so much?

This course has been specially designed for students of all levels to help them to learn Acupressure treatment that helps manage physical, mental and emotional health. It starts with an introduction of acupressure to relieve physical pains and fatigues. Moreover, it also stresses on acupressure techniques that can help in solving emotional issues: bad moods and emotional traumas. It would also introduce learners to the use of acupressure to maintain an appropriate mental health –fixing confused, forgetful behaviours, etc.

We at Study365 aim to provide our learners with top-notch faculty on their own convenience not bound by time or place. While our online learning modules are accessible at all times from anywhere in the world, we understand students’ need for help and support during the learning process and therefore, we facilitate you with one of our tutors to help you through. All information, coursework and module development is professionally created and always kept up-to-date. Upon sign up, each student will receive a 47-page course manual plus 13 beautifully illustrated downloadable treatment charts showing point location and benefits.

FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
