Overview

Certificate in Acupressure – Yuan Source Points

Passionate about a healthy and well-functioning body? Use traditional Chinese medicine techniques and earn out of your skills!

Traditional Chinese medicine is a process that has been developing for years. Their acupressure techniques have been admired throughout the world. Using natural methods to make your body healthy is not so difficult if you know the use of right methodologies. This course thus provides you with the appropriate ways of Chinese acupressure. The 12 Meridians in our body have a Yuan source points near the wrists and ankles from where the vital energy of ‘zang-fu’ organs passes. The Diploma in Acupressure- Yuan Source Points will help you gain a grip on each of these points to help ease stress and aches and result in sound functioning of the zang-fu organs.

The course will introduce its learners to the concepts of traditional Chinese medicine. It would begin with an introduction of the Yuan Source points and the zang-fu organs. The term ‘zang’ refers to the organs considered to be yin in nature – lung, pericardium, heart, spleen, liver and kidney – while ‘fu’ refers to the yang organs – large intestine, triple heater, small Intestine, stomach, gall bladder and bladder. “Yuan” means source or origin and refers to the source of vital energy through which the pathological changes of zang-fu organs are manifested. This course will enable candidates to locate the important source points for acupressure that regulate energy in the body, which they can use to benefit themselves as well as their clients.

We at Study365 aim to provide our learners with top-notch faculty on their own convenience not bound by time or place. FAQs

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. At Reed Courses, courses are delivered in a number of ways, including online courses, where the course content can be accessed online remotely, and classroom courses, where courses are delivered in person at a classroom venue.

CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. Ofqual regulated qualifications sit on the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF), which can help students understand how different qualifications in different fields compare to each other. The framework also helps students to understand what qualifications they need to progress towards a higher learning goal, such as a university degree or equivalent higher education award.

An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
