Overview

One to One learning at my studio in Milton Keynes in a relaxed fun atmosphere. You will have my full guidance throughout the day, learning hands on. You will have the opportunity to bring a long a friend/family member to practice your skills on during the afternoon sessions and take photo's of your work to build up your portfolio.

By the end of your 3 days you will feel confident to do variety of traditional, contemporary and vintage Styles. All the essential requirements to offer for Brides, Proms and other Special occasions

There is a small amount of online home study I will send you when booking your course with me, which can be read in your own time.

And don't worry, there are no written tests:)

When you have successfully completed your training course(s), you will receive a diploma certificate issued by The Hair and Makeup Academy and accredited by PBD. This not only demonstrates your commitment to the training, but also allows you to obtain Public Liability insurance so you can start offering treatments to paying clients from home or mobile.

Day One

  • Consultation Techniques 10am-10.30am

  • Applying correct products/brushes/tools 10.30-11am

  • Hairstyling Demonstration on mannequin/student practical 11am-1pm

  • Lunchbreak 1pm-2pm

  • Hairstyling demonstration/student practical on mannequin 2pm-3.30pm

  • Aftercare/Q&A 3.30pm-4pm

Day Two

  • Bridal Trial Techniques 10am-10.30am

  • Applying heated rollers on Mannequin/student practical 10.30-11.30am

  • Hairstyling Demonstration on mannequin/student practical 11.30am-1pm

  • Lunch break 1pm-1.45pm

  • Model Demonstration and student practical 2pm-3.00pm

  • Fitting tiara, veil, fascinators 3.00pm-3.45pm

  • Q&A 3.45pm-4pm

Day Three

  • Discussion 10am-10.30am

  • Vintage/Retro Hairstyling Demonstration / Student practical 10.30-12.30am

  • Lunch-Break 12.30-1.15pm

  • Model Student Practice on choice of one or two styles learnt 1.30pm-3.45pm

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered.
