Business Finance deals with investing strategies and effective debt management. Managing debts properly can contribute to a business’ rapid expansion which is one of the goals of any business. Ineffective debt management and investing too much money to high risk investments can reduce profit margin.

At the end of this course, students shall learn how to: (1) understand book-keeping; (2) be familiar with records and book-keeping systems; (3) become versed with credit control; (4) understand costing; (5) gain knowledge about pricing contents; (6) be familiar with budget; and (7) plan for profit.
To achieve these goals, this course shall make use of interactive materials to present the concepts of the topics to be discussed. Assessments shall be done after the entire course to check for knowledge retention and understanding.
Funds have to be allotted for contingency needs to make sure that the company will stay afloat even in trying times. Pushing sales also needs funding to make sure that a high volume of sales will be generated to increase profit margin. If a business opportunity comes by there should also be enough funds to take advantage of it.
