Overview

The marketing pathway is aimed at students with an interest in pursuing a career in marketing or business management, and offers a grounding in both areas. You’ll learn about the relational nature of marketing, and how strategic marketing planning and communications contribute to the success of organisations internationally. This course will develop your skills in planning, presenting, communication and teamwork.

Requirements

Grades BBC at A Level and Grade C or grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent qualifications).

Career path

This degree will prepare you for a wide range of positions, including roles in digital communications, customer behaviour and management. You will receive an exemption from the Chartered Institute of Marketing for the Level 4 Marketing module within the Certificate in Professional Marketing.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
