Description

This two day APMG accredited training course provides participants with an understanding of the foundation principles and techniques used in the DSDM Agile Project Management framework.

On this course you will learn:

  • The underpinning philosophy and principles of Agile.
  • The lifecycle of an Agile project, including alternative configurations.
  • The products produced during an Agile project and their purpose.
  • The techniques used and their benefits and limitations.
  • The roles and responsibilities within an Agile project.

Delegates will be asked to put some extra time in for study in the evenings of the course, to read and remember the course handbook as well as attempting sample papers (provided) for discussion of the answers and rationale during the course.

The price includes all Agile Foundation Training, Exam, Manuals and Certificates.

Who is this course for?

The Foundation course is open to anyone with an interest in project management and agile techniques. Some experience of working in project teams would be beneficial.

There are no prerequisites for this course, however pre-reading of the course handbook is advised as it will give you the the best chance of successfully passing the exams.

Career path

After talking this course, you can progress on to the AgilePM Practitioner qualification. After successfully completing the AgilePM Practitioner, you will be in a position to start applying for project management positions. You will typically need some experience of the industry sector you are applying within, and this, together with the APMG certificate will give you the best chance of success.
