This course provides an essential overview and refresher, including analysis of the changes brought about by the new international standards and the upcoming EU 4th Directive, together with the key findings of the UK’s National Risk Assessment. It includes a comprehensive review of the UK’s laws, regulations and guidance notes and is also focused on business needs, taking a risk-based approach and providing an understanding of the controls and processes needed to manage the threats. Delegates will learn the threats to businesses and individuals posed by organised crime and terrorists and how to take a risk-based approach to manage them.
