Increased life expectancy is one of the most notable human achievements of the last century. We are living longer, and our quality of life depends on healthy ageing. Older people are at increased risk of disease and disability. This can seriously affect their quality of life and impact on their families.

Requirements:

MPhil and PhD candidates require a 2.1 Honours degree, or international equivalent, in a science or medicine related subject. Further research experience or a Master’s degree would be advantageous. MD candidates require a MBBS, or an equivalent medical degree. Applicants whose 1st language is not English will need IELTS 6.5, or equivalent.
