The course covers 17 modules included below and this Diploma is gained by achieving the following credits: 30 Level 3 credits in Biology, 6 Level 3 credits in Psychology, 3 Level 3 credits in Sociology, 6 Level 3 credits in Health Studies, 6 Level 3 credits in Study Skills, 6 Level 3 credits in Academic Studies and 3 Level 2 credits in Maths.

The Level 3 diploma is equivalent to 3 A Levels and it enables you to apply for entry to university. There are no entry requirements required to enrol onto our course but there is an application process. There is no minimum or maximum age limit for enrollment.

There are no exams on our Access Diploma course, but students are expected to complete a variety of assessments and assignments to illustrate their understanding and competence around each module they will be studying.

The course fee includes all costs and after making a small deposit to secure your place the balance is payable in further affordable monthly instalments.

The Access to HE Diploma is recognised by the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education (QAA) and validated by AIM Awards.

Who is this course for?

This course is designed for students wishing to go to university to study a degree but do not have the qualifications to do so. Ideal for students who do not have the time to attend classes or lectures due to work or family commitments.

Requirements

No qualifications are required to enrol into our Access to HE Diploma but there is an application process.

Students who have GCSE qualifications in Maths and English, or equivalent, will find these advantageous when applying.

Career path

Being a midwife is more than just delivering babies. A midwife is usually the first and main contact for the woman during her pregnancy, throughout labour and the early postnatal period. They are responsible for providing care and supporting women to make informed choices about their care.
