Good financial and accounting management is at the heart of any successful business. This unit aims to develop a learner’s understanding of the range of sources of finance available to organisations and how these can be properly matched to specific financial resource requirements. The unit aims to explore financial issues relating to international trade and acquire the skills required to develop and implement a budget for a major programme of work.

Who is this course for?
The course is open to anyone who would like to gain a Ofqual-regulated Level 4 Unit Certificate in Accounting and Finance.
Requirements
Entry is open - and all learners should have a reasonable chance for success. However, applicants should have, as a minimum, the following:
- Three A levels, or equivalent, at pass or above
- A Level 3 qualification in business
- An internationally recognised equivalent qualification
If you are a Mature Learner, your career profile will be considered to assess if you could be successful in studying at Level 4.
Competency in English language must be at:
- CEFR Level B2
- Pearson PTE Level B2
- IELTS of 5.5
Or equivalent.
Career path
Upon successful completion of Level 4 learners can progress to Level 5 or exit the qualification with a Level 4 qualification in Accounting and Finance (RQF).
