Overview

In our 150 hour online course, participants will learn all of the necessary principles of successful teaching and begin to develop the skills they need to teach students effectively, including teaching English to children, Business English and CLIL. Upon course completion, you will be qualified to teach English in classrooms around the world. This course will complement your TEFL/TESOL CV and your chances of getting a job will improve when you have this internationally accepted certificate. That depends on the course you want to take. The 120-150 will be graded by Lesson Plan- Grammar Course - Final Exam.

-is the 6 month duration a structured time-frame or is it 'suggested'? -how is teaching assessment fulfilled? How do we complete supervised lessons?

Answer:

You won't have any schedules but you'll have up to six months to complete the course. You'll have an assigned trainer and you'll communicate with her through email, she will supervise you with the lesson plan.

Study method describes the format in which the course will be delivered. CPD stands for Continuing Professional Development. If you work in certain professions or for certain companies, your employer may require you to complete a number of CPD hours or points, per year. You can find a range of CPD courses on Reed Courses, many of which can be completed online.

A regulated qualification is delivered by a learning institution which is regulated by a government body. In England, the government body which regulates courses is Ofqual. An endorsed course is a skills based course which has been checked over and approved by an independent awarding body. Endorsed courses are not regulated so do not result in a qualification - however, the student can usually purchase a certificate showing the awarding body's logo if they wish. Certain awarding bodies - such as Quality Licence Scheme and TQUK - have developed endorsement schemes as a way to help students select the best skills based courses for them.
