This course is taken over just 1 day but depending on your own ability, you are allowed further time to revise if you wish. You will receive learning materials to study within 2 days of purchase so you can study at home or during your lunch break etc.

The exam will be taken at our training centre located on Green Lanes, Haringey, London and will take approximately 1 hour to complete.

Upon completion of the exam you will receive your results the same day by email to confirm whether you have passed or failed. Your certificate will be scanned and sent to you by email within 2-5 working days.

What is a CSCS Card?

CSCS is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out.

The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved, or are committed to achieving a recognised construction related qualification.

Most principal contractors and major house builders require construction workers on their sites to hold a valid CSCS card, it is also important to hold a card if you are carrying out other works on a construction site i.e. removals, cleaning etc.

How can I obtain a CSCS Card?

From July 2014 it is a legal requirement to achieve a Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment before being eligible to apply for a CSCS Card. The Learning Station offers employers and individuals the opportunity to take the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment QCF at our training centre located on Green Lanes, Haringey, London.

CSCS Card: Achievement of the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction environment will demonstrate the applicant understands of key issues affecting safe working practices on UK construction sites.

The training can be taken from the comfort of your own home, at the end of which the candidate will take the Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction environment Test at our centre.
