This is a key operational leadership role, ideal for someone who enjoys being close to the action in a fast-paced environment. You will manage resources, people, and processes to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and service excellence.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day manufacturing, warehouse, and distribution operationsOversee production planning, procurement, inventory, and resource allocationLead and develop operational teams, ensuring adequate cover at all timesEnsure compliance with ISO standards, UK Health & Safety, and food safety requirementsOversee transport operations, scheduling, and driver performanceMonitor budgets, invoices, and operational spendAct as first point of contact for Health & Safety mattersSupport audits, continuous improvement, and operational projectsProfileThe successful Operations manager will posses a range of the following:Proven experience in a managerial role within FMCG manufacturingStrong knowledge of supply chain, warehousing, and distributionA practical, confident leader with excellent organisational and problem-solving skillsSelf motivated, energetic and ability to motivate teamComfortable working hands-on in a small, high-performing teamCompetent with Microsoft Office and operational reporting (SAP an advantage)Job OfferWhat's on OfferSalary £50,000- £55,00025days annual leave plus bank holidaysCompany pension scheme
