Governance and Compliance Manager

They also offer a fantastic, unique, working environment. We are looking for a Compliance and Governance Manager to support with policy and governance, in line with the organisation strategy. You’ll be working closely with senior management and the board, involved in some high-profile projects. This role will initially be for 6 months, with the potential to be extended or become permanent. Why Work Here? This is a fantastic role with benefits on offer of: Salary circa £43,000, dependent on experienceFlexible working hoursHybrid working arrangementsAnnual leave entitlement of 25 days plus public holidaysVarious discounts related to the organisationHealth care planAn opportunity to become part of the senior leadership team and make a tangible contribution to a meaningful cause Job The role of Compliance and Governance Manager will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following: Championing good governance and developing the organisation’s compliance approachLead on the incremental implementation of a new external governance framework across networkWorking with the Board and senior leadership team to ensure support for governance is compliant, effective and contributes towards strategic prioritiesTaking the lead on projects and owning the governance and compliance functionConducting comprehensive reviews and evaluations of the charity's policies, governance structures, and compliance proceduresIdentifying areas for improvement and recommending actionable solutions to enhance organisational performance and adherence to regulatory standardsSupporting the Chief Executive Officer, Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees to ensure excellent governance of the organisationPromoting and encouraging a culture of responsibility for complianceProviding advice and guidance on technical issues that relate to governance and compliance mattersHighlighting key risk to the Board and senior leadership team as deemed appropriate, providing updates on changes and progressDeveloping a code of practice, in addition to record management and communication methods that are fit for purpose and maintain confidentiality.Work collaboratively with stakeholders in and outside of the organisationWorking on a number of exciting projects to help the organisation achieve its vision, mission and values You As Compliance and Governance Manager you will be skilled &/or qualified in the following: Knowledge and understanding of charity governance, structures, policy and practiceEvidence of CPD in relevant governance related trainingProject management experienceHigh level communication and IT skillsInterpersonal/relationship building/stakeholder engagement skillsInfluencing senior leaders and decision makersManaging and making decisions independentlyAbility to respect and observe confidentiality at the highest level At Three Bridges Recruitment, two of our values are "striving for brilliance" and "relatability".
