Key Responsibilities Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, with responsibility for 1 direct report.To mentor and manage the analyst coupled with developing their financial modelling skills.Building advanced Microsoft Excel based financial models and model testing.Preparing technical valuations using a range of methodologies, including discounted cash flow, market multiples and asset-based approaches for companies.Mergers and acquisitions related advice, including the preparation of information memorandums, buyer and industry research, client management, DD support.The preparation of client proposals, strategic value analysis, strategic planning, feasibility and business case assessments for projects of scale and significance.Experience in Transaction services (e.g. Financial Due diligence (a bonus). You will ideally be a qualified accountant who’s had exposure to mergers and acquisitions. The client has received significant financial funding and have invested heavily in innovative cutting-edge technology. They are keen to grow via acquiring 6-10 competitors per year (typically deal values £3m-£15m with up to £100 million in assets under management). The role: Reporting to the Head of Mergers and Acquisitions, you will play a key role in building a robust corporate finance function.
