Job Description:Job Title: Compliance Risk Analyst - Associate Location: Birmingham Corporate Title: Associate The Compliance Risk Assessment ('CRA') Analyst sits within the Compliance Risk Management Office ('CRMO') and supports the CRMO Vice President responsible for the facilitation and execution of CRA globally, the analysis of CRA results to highlight global risks, themes and issues, and the development and production of reporting and management information ('MI') on the Compliance Risk profile for senior governance, global and regional reporting. Your key responsibilities: Preparation, consolidation, transformation and mapping of various data sets used as part of the risk assessment process (including rules and regulations, policies and procedures, controls, audit findings and self-identified issues) Support Business Line and Infrastructure Compliance teams with queries on the requirements, process and expectations regarding the risk assessments Monthly preparation and reporting of risk assessment triggers, risk tolerance conditions and risk metrics, along with commentaries Maintenance and further enhancement of the MI tooling, including liaison with the Tableau development team and performing User Acceptance Testing as required Participation in the Compliance risk appetite metrics working group and sharing relevant findings Preparation of monthly/quarterly reports on the risk profile Your skills and experience: Experience in a financial service setting Experience of risk assessment or experience in an operational risk management role preferred Practical experience in problem solving in the context of data handling and analytics - able to interpret data sets and work to tight deadlines whilst demonstrating a high level of diligence and attention to detail Excellent Excel skills and proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Word The ability to generate innovative ideas, and identify points for improvement Able to draw conclusions risks/themes from within large sets of data and present solutions to resolve gaps .
