We are looking for a finance professional to join our clients central finance team based in Ipswich. The Finance Business Partner will take responsibility to produce accurate and timely management accounts. This will involve full end to end month end processes plus full budget and forecasting cycles. Production of accurate monthly management accounts for the division, including accrual calculations and accounting adjustments in accordance with relevant financial reporting standards & company policiesPrepare variance analysis for operational services and support functions within the divisionMonthly management reporting including KPIsEnsure that budgets are monitored effectively and actions to address any issues are discussed with the Operational HeadsFull balance sheet reconciliations for the divisionManage the month-end timetable and communications with all relevant partiesProduction of budget and forecasts, working closely with the Operational HeadsIdentify risks and support with mitigation strategiesProvide commercial support including bidding, pricing, and investment appraisalsProvide financial support on contract mobilisations/demobilisationsLiaise with internal and external auditors, and produce information as/when requested*Provide support to the Senior Finance Business Partner on financial mattersSupport Operational Heads with adhoc tasks, as/when required Requirements: Qualified or in final stage of ACCA/CIMA or equivalentPrevious experience in management accounting roleStrategic acumen and commercial mindednessDecision making skillsRelationship buildingExcellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholdersAwareness of confidentiality and data protection requirementsAbility to work effectively under pressureProficient in Microsoft Office

This position sits within a Finance Planning Team that leads on budget setting, monitoring, and financial guidance for key service areas. It’s a collaborative and advisory role where you’ll work closely with Service Managers and Senior Leaders, helping ensure their services are financially sound, well-planned, and aligned with long-term objectives.
