Year 5/6 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently supporting a primary school in the north area of York with their recruitment of Key Stage Two staff. We are currently looking to appoint an experienced Key Stage Two Teacher who has worked recently within Year 5 and 6.

This is a fixed-term, maternity cover position and will begin on the 1st March, running until 29th June 2018, covering in Key Stage Two.

This is small school which is well on the way to becoming 'Outstanding'. The class you will be teaching is a small mixed Year 5/6 group of very high achievers, with very good behaviour.

The successful candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic and able to develop student progress and attainment even further. You should be able to demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and be an inspiring Teacher who can engage all pupils. You should also be able to prepare and support Year 6 pupils during the SATs period.

Please note, if you do not already possess a Child Workforce DBS whcih is registered with the update service, you will be required to obtain an up to date one.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
