Are you prepared to join a committed team at a compassionate single-entry school in Bolton? Our partner school is seeking an enthusiastic teacher to cover a Year 3 class for a maternity leave role. This role is due to start in May 2024 and will continue until December 2024 and is open to ECTs who are keen to build on their experience. The school believes in developing children into interested and interesting learners due to their engaging lessons and a high level of questioning. The school strives to make the curriculum creative, engaging and fun for all, building on the variable starting points that children have when they enter school.

The school is well resourced with dedicated reading areas and outdoor learning spaces. The ideal candidate for this role should possess superb communication skills and a thorough understanding of the Primary School Curriculum. To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • Have QTS or QTLS status
  • Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
  • Previous experience with KS2 classes
  • Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
  • Have the legal right to work in the UK
