Reed Social Care are currently recruiting for full-time Support Workers on a permanent basis to join the Wellbeing Team within a Retirement Village near Lanark. These roles are to start ASAP!

Spread over 55 acres of land, our Client offers independent living to over 150 residents. Due to the nature of this role, we require someone with Support experience - this job is to primarily assist residents day to day to promote independence and build personal resilience in self-managing their own health and wellbeing. You'll also be responsible for providing meaningful activites to suit all residents.

If successful, you will be contracted 30 hours per week spread 4 over 7 days, so you must be flexible in your working pattern and be able to work a 7 day rota. Shift times will be either 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm.

In return, you'll receive £9/hour, pension and 28 days holiday as part of your benefits package.

Please note that due to the location of this post, you should ideally be a driver with access to your own transport. You should also hold an SVQ 2 or equivalent in Health & Social Care (or willing to work towards one) and have previous experience working with the elderly.
