Overview:

First Military Recruitment is working in partnership with our reputable client who is seeking a Waste Management Operative to join their team.

To provide a support service by dealing with my client's group’s waste collection and disposal within the M25.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct all aspects of waste clearance & control both domestic and commercial.
• Separate all recyclable and non-recyclable waste.
• Attend offices and operational sites daily for collection/delivery of internal mail.
• Movement of office furniture and equipment on an ad hoc basis as required.
• Collection and delivery of company electronic equipment as directed by the IT Department.
• Ground keeping duties as and when required.
• Assisting movement, collection and delivery of company vehicles from numerous locations as directed by the Transport Manager.
• Completion of all waste transfer documentation.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Essential:

• Full and valid driving licence.
• Certificate of Asbestos Awareness Training.
• Experience of working in a multi-sited company.
• Experience of High Volume High pressure environments.
• Articulate and confident communication skills Essential
• Good road knowledge of inner London and surrounding areas.
• Able to work alone and within a team.
• Ability to work well and remain calm under pressure.

Desirable:

• Minimum 8 GCSE’s or equivalent, Grades A – C (including English & Math).
• Certificate of Training Achievement for Working at Height, Manual Handling, First Aid, or other.
• Experience of working to tight deadlines.
