Warehouse Team Leader

Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to work for our client based at their office in Deeping St James.

Responsibilities include:

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of the team.
  • Motivating the team to achieve organisational goals.
  • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets.
  • Delegating tasks to team members.
  • Conducting training of team members to maximise their potential.
  • Setting strategy and monitoring progress towards goals
  • Ensuring that their team is productive, efficient, and motivated by delegating work fairly, providing training and mentorship and monitoring performance.
  • Leading and managing a team of employees.
  • Stock and inventory control.
  • Quality control and investigations.
  • Health & Safety, contribute towards the safe operation of the sites.

Key Skills/Attributes:

  • Leadership skills.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
  • Knowledge of computer applications, must be comfortable with excel and WMS/ERP systems.
  • Clean driving licence required.
  • A Counterbalance licence would be desirable.
  • Must have logistics experience
  • Be a team player and prepared to be hands-on.
  • Be prepared to cross-train to support the manufacturing element of the business when needed.

Please note this position may at some point move to our clients Stamford site.

Hours: Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm

Pay rate: £27,000PA
