Job Title: Warehouse/Store Assistant

Location: London

Contract Details: Permanent, Full-time (Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm with 1 hour for lunch)

Salary: £25,000 per year

Responsibilities:

As a Warehouse/Store Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the efficient operations of our Parts Store and Warehouse. Reporting to the Parts Store Supervisor, you'll be responsible for selecting spare parts for the Dental and Hairdressing departments while supporting the wider Logistics and Warehouse team as needed.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring efficient receipt and accurate booking of goods-in on the IT system
  • Timely despatch of goods-out, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies
  • Collaborating effectively with Customer Service and Workshop teams
  • Storing and rotating stock and goods appropriately
  • Conducting precise and timely cycle counts
  • Accurate data entry using IT tools.
  • Reporting damaged or missing goods to the Parts Store Supervisor
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and tidiness in the Parts Storeroom
  • Compliance with Fire Safety, Health and Safety at Work, and Manual Handling regulations
  • Assisting in various warehouse and parts storeroom duties as needed
  • Performing any other duties as required

Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):

  • Physical strength, fitness, and dexterity to handle heavy packages and work at elevated heights.
  • Good numeracy skills
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organised and efficient
  • Problem-solving and analytically skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of stock management systems (for routine reporting and troubleshooting) would be a plus.
  • Awareness of Data Protection and Health and Safety regulations, or willingness to learn.
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (desirable) or willingness to learn
