My client based in Wellingborough is seeking a Nightshift Warehouse Manager

Salary circ £50,000.00 - £55,000.00

Hours: Night Shift - Any 5 out of 7 nights

Person Spec: Experienced Warehouse/Operations Manager Level. Ideally experience of food services, multi temperature environment, experience of large scale operations, thorough understanding of budgets, strong drive and resilience.

Job Purpose: Responsible for the day to day warehouse operations in Wellingborough. Manage the overall performance of the operational employees across the DC.

Duties:
Operational
Plan, implement, manage and control all areas of the site warehouse operations and costs with maximum efficiency to ensure it exceeds customer expectations.
Set, agree and manage objectives and KPI's with Warehouse Operations Managers to achieve a 'best in class' operation.
Manage all assets and activities within the scope of the warehouse operation through clearly communicated processes and KPI's to achieve contractual requirements to meet customer's needs
Ensure all Facilities Management is executed and communicated effectively for the site to agreed client KPI's
Measure and review warehouse performance against company and customer KPI's and implement appropriate actions to seek continuous improvement.
Create, through effective leadership and clearly defined processes, an operationally robust programme for building health and safety standards, including BRC Standards and HSE requirements.
Drive and deliver full compliance to all company and legislative Health & Safety, HACCP/BRC requirements, as well as excellent standards of hygiene and housekeeping.

Financial
Measure and deliver operational budgets for the client.
Measure and deliver P&L requirements to ensure the profit plan is achieved.
Monitor warehouse operational expenditure and revenue, constantly reviewing methods to improve warehouse operations to maximise plan performance.
Ensure finance standards meet the required legislative and Company framework.
Evaluate the need for, source, and dispose of assets in line with company procedures.

People Development
Identify optimum manpower requirements to ensure the Company and Customer objectives are achieved.
Develop and motivate direct reports in order that they can meet and exceed their current and anticipated future requirements, utilising stretching objectives and measurements through agreed KPI's, thereby supporting the facility's performance and the company's sustained growth.
Recruit, performance manage and develop employees to maintain the necessary standards of skills for present and future needs.
Ensure through the correct Continued Professional Development methods a robust and sustainable succession management programme is establish and maintained.
Motivate and develop staff through great people management, including appraisals and collective team communications to achieve KPI's
Council, coach and encourage staff
