The business requires solid engineering leadership to help establish structure, NPI processes, revision management, certification, compliance and input to the technology roadmap as they seek to monetize the potential for the technology.
You will be both a technical and people leader, responsible for recruiting and motivating the engineers to bring pragmatism and realism to their innovation and natural flair.
As a start-up, the business will require you initially to have a hands-on approach, therefore some direct involvement with design work in the early stages of the journey of building this business from start up into a sustainable company. With this in mind, it is important you have a good understanding of circuit characterisation and simulation. You will also need to have experience of analogue electronics design and some power electronics.
You will have held responsibility for engineering resourcing needs of a rapidly growing organisation and defined and implemented a long-term recruitment strategy to attract, hire, and retain a high-performing team of exceptional engineers from diverse backgrounds, while adapting an organisation structure to deal with the expansion.
Excellent communicator with proven ability to clearly convey complex ideas and data in written, presentation and spoken formats to a variety of audiences.
