VP / IT

I am currently recruiting for a Permanent VP of INFORMATION TECHOLOGY based in New York.
You need to be an IT Leader is responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the technology and communications network. This position will oversee all business information systems and applications, network infrastructure, data security, disaster preparedness, IT Helpdesk support, communication systems, vendor relationships and equipment purchases.

You will be required to have:

• IT experience. Knowledge of systems design and development processes, including requirements analysis, feasibility studies, software design, programming, pilot testing, installation, evaluation and operational management
• Property & Casualty insurance experience
• Experience managing an insurance data system at a carrier, MGA, or Broker
• Experience managing a successful policy administration integration or new system implementation initiative preferred
• General familiarity with insurance policy data reporting requirements related to management reporting, statutory reporting, carrier reporting and financial reporting
• Experience using Agile methodology strongly preferred
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or other indicators of continued learning strongly preferred
