Salary: £50,000 + bonus + benefits

A highly creative, solutions-focused marketer with significant VM experience is sought for a newly created role. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the role is to provide both visual and written communications to deliver a unique brand footprint. Your remit will be the vision of behind head-turning windows and POS that will drive footfall and communicate the DNA of the brands.

Setting the visual in-store strategy for the retail teams to execute will require someone with fantastic VM skills and commercial awareness to provide expert leadership, articulate and reinforce the vision and direct your team to the achievement of corporate goals.

  • Inspire all teams to have a ‘customer first’ mentality through all areas of the organisation
  • Strong visual & verbal communication skills with excellent visualising ability
  • Both strong product handling and display skills
  • Able to manage and direct multiple projects in an organised manner, with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Must have commercial awareness and a strong understanding of space and densities to drive profit for our client

  • Develop strong relationships with internal key stakeholders, store colleagues and suppliers

  • Arrange the visual in store strategy with clear, concise handovers to retail teams for carrying out the strategy
  • Developing and delivering the seasonal, phase and weekly visual guidelines ensuring 100% compliance throughout
  • Develop Visual Merchandising techniques and profiling to ensure our client’s environment remains fresh, on trend and clear for all customers
  • Work together with the Area Managers to develop their individual VM expertise and understand the challenges of our client’s business and its different areas
  • Build strong brand visual experts within each store and keep standards consistent throughout
  • Work in close partnership with the Buying & Merchandising teams to ensure new product launches are launched with precision and on time across all stores
  • Ownership of model store to ensure effective handover from guidelines to execution, with clear communication
  • Ownership of sale and promotional communication in terms of visual set up
