Job Title: Uniformed Public Service Lecturer

Pay rate: Full Time (Monday to Friday 9-5)
Hours: Full Time

Our REED Education FE branch are currently working with a great college on an exciting new role in the South West London area.

Starting immediately, the college are looking for an outstanding Uniformed Public Service Lecturer to join then on a temporary basis.

The Role:
- Plan and prepare dynamic lessons, delivers outstanding teaching and conducts tutorials and assessments for students within the School.
-Actively contributes to the research and commercialization activities of the School.
-Undertakes induction and sets smart targets for attendance and punctuality ensuring student attendance, retention and progress on courses
-Liaises with parents / carers and work experience providers as required including attending parents’ meetings.
-Undertakes any other duties that may be reasonably required by the Head of School or assigned by the College from time to time.
· You will be delivering in a Further Education setting.
· You will be working with students aged 16+
· Effective curriculum and lesson planning which meets individual needs is essential

What you will need:
-Successful record of setting and implementing target setting, monitoring and reviewing learner progress
-Relevant Vocational Experience e.g. worked in the armed or emergency services
· A recognised teaching qualification
· Degree or equivalent in the related subject.
· Experience delivering Public Services in a Further Education setting.
· Good classroom management
