A great opportunity has arisen in Woking for someone looking to start their new career. The position is a trainee Treasury role and requires a fast start (1 week notice or less). This is a full time (8am- 4:30pm), permanent role suitable for someone with little or no experience in the treasury field. However, you must have a degree in economics, business, finance or accountancy and advanced Excel skills are essential. Due to the location of the role you will need to be able to access Woking via public transport. The role will be paying between £25,000 and £28,000pa dependant on experience.

The Company
You will be working in a small team for a well-established and growing company in Woking.

The Role

As a trainee treasury assistant you will be working within a small team to run the treasury function of the business. Therefore it is key that you will have great communication skills and can work effectively with others. You will need to be prepared to work in a fast paced environment, the role revolves around tight daily deadlines. You will need to have a very analytical mind set and be numerically confident. You will be responsible for holding monetary resources and running intercompany, multi-currency loans. Therefore, it will be key that you have some interest in multi-currencies. You will also be preparing the system for new payments and ensuring all payments are met by deadlines. Alongside this, you will be responsible for daily and weekly reporting. Finally, there may be ad-hoc cash management duties.
