Trainee Freight Forwarder Job Description:

As a Trainee Freight Forwarder, you will be introduced to the dynamic world of logistics and international trade. You will undergo comprehensive training to develop the skills and knowledge required to facilitate the movement of goods across domestic and international borders efficiently. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of freight forwarding operations.

Trainee Freight Forwarder Responsibilities:

  • Learning the Basics: Acquire fundamental knowledge of freight forwarding processes, including documentation, customs regulations, and shipping methods.
  • Documentation Handling: Assist in preparing shipping documents such as invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations accurately and in compliance with regulations.
  • Customer Communication: Communicate with clients, suppliers, and carriers to ensure smooth coordination of shipments and address any inquiries or concerns promptly.
  • Tracking Shipments: Monitor the movement of goods from origin to destination, track shipments using tracking systems, and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Compliance Management: Learn and adhere to international trade regulations, customs procedures, and industry standards to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
  • Problem Solving: Assist in resolving any issues or delays in the shipping process, such as customs clearance issues, transportation delays, or damaged goods.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new regulations, and best practices in freight forwarding through ongoing training and professional development.
