Trainee Adjuster -  Marine  - London and Liverpool

Our marine adjusting team have a fantastic opportunity for graduates to train to become Average Adjusters in both of our London and Liverpool office locations.

The team consists of specialist average adjusters. They act as impartial intermediaries between shipowners and their marine insurers when ships are involved in accidents, providing advice on legal and other aspects of marine casualties and determining who pays for what and why they are liable. Average adjusters are all-rounders with an expert knowledge of marine law and the practice of marine insurance, as well as a practical understanding of the global shipping industry.

The work is extremely varied work and no two cases will ever be the same. Candidates must be robust, intellectually capable individuals with ability to deal with pressure and absorb ideas quickly. The work requires an analytical approach, accuracy and an ability to work with minimal supervision.

Successful candidates will receive high quality training and would be expected to undertake further study and professional examinations.

As an international company, there are opportunities to work overseas including secondments within our global offices.
