Traditional Secretary

Our client, a City based Investment Management company, are looking for an organised and meticulous Traditional Secretary with strong audio typing, to join them.

Working for two Investment Managers this is an audio and secretarial based role that will have peaks and troughs, therefore a flexible, conscientious and motivated candidate is sought.

Key responsibilities as the Traditional Secretary may include:

  • Audio and digital audio typing - accurately transcribing dictation using correct punctuation and grammar
  • Proofreading and checking documents
  • Maintaining filing systems
  • Diary management
  • Booking meetings and appointments
  • Minute taking Maintaining CRM systems
  • Liaising with clients
  • Plus more

Skills, experience and attributes our client is looking for:

  • Fast and accurate typing skills (audio and digital audio)
  • Previous experience in a professional services environment - financial services is highly beneficial
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise at all levels
  • Highly organised with the ability to multi-task, prioritise tasks effectively and proactively assist others when workload allows
  • Analytical and numerate
  • Strong PC skills including MS Office - PowerPoint skills beneficial
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Team player
