We’re looking for a Youth Support Assistant to help deliver exciting programmes for ages 12-25, from workshops and showcases to community projects. About the Role Job Purpose: To provide support in the delivery of creative youth programmes for ages 12–25.&nbsp; This may include supporting session delivery, safeguarding reporting, communication with partners, parents, and session practitioners, and the continued development of collaborative partnerships and networking that promote participation in youth programs at the Core, or the referral of young people on Core programs to other partner programs. The role will also be responsible for week to week safety checks on the Project M space. Key Task Areas: Regular Program Support&nbsp; To support with session delivery across the range of youth programs - times will vary but will include evenings and weekends from time to time&nbsp; Contribute to planning and logistics&nbsp; Project M Support&nbsp; Attend and support Project M sessions weekly (Thursday 6:30-8:30) Attendance is required 3 weeks out of 4 in a month.&nbsp;&nbsp; Assist with attendance monitoring, safeguarding reporting, and showcases planning and delivery&nbsp; Be a fire warden for Project M space and a duty manager for the theatre, specific to evacuating youth groups as necessary.&nbsp;&nbsp; Collaboration &amp; Networking&nbsp; Attend and support cross-sector in person youth partnership meetings (e.g., VCSE, CYP collaborations) These may take place either locally or at other venues across Northamptonshire&nbsp; Represent the youth voice in relevant forums and share learning with the Core team&nbsp; A full Youth Support Assistant job description is available to view and download on our website. Youth Support Assistant

Are you an experienced technical leader with a keen eye for detail and a passion for managing technical facilities and staff and ensuring the smooth running of events and performances?&nbsp; We pride ourselves on our technical facilities and standards and are looking for an inspiring, dedicated individual to join our team and take charge of the technical department, including staff management and technical administration, and commit to the highest standards of practical delivery of events and shows. The Technical Manager will oversee recruitment and training, manage rosters and budgets, liaise with incoming companies, and ensure the upkeep of technical equipment, systems, areas, and safety standards. As a vital part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to venue improvements, attend key meetings, and promote our core values. About the Role Job Purpose • The practical organisation and supervision of the technical team, ensuring the highest quality technical delivery for all presented and participatory work within the theatre, cinema, and studio spaces at The Core at Corby Cube and, where relevant, alternative spaces. • To be responsible for maintaining the technical and auditorium facilities to the highest standards. • To support and deputise on relevant areas for the Head of Operations. Key Task Areas: Staff Management • Be responsible for the efficient day-to-day management and rotas of the technical staff, ensuring all events, performances and setups are appropriately staffed within budget and working time regulations are adhered to and monitored. • Ensure effective communication with all technical staff is maintained - and tasks, systems, procedures, and responsibilities are disseminated throughout the technical department. Technical Administration • Liaise with all incoming companies, the Creative team, Head of Operations, and Customer Service department to ensure appropriate provisions for the smooth running of all events, corporate bookings, creative learning activities and performances. • Work with the Head of Operations in managing external contracts and contractor visits for technical and building maintenance, services and inspections. Practical Delivery&nbsp; • Regularly work performances and events, including lighting, sound and audio-visual equipment operation, taking on the role of duty technician. • Produce lighting and sound designs for in-house productions and community users as required.
