Great opportunity for a Biomedical Scientist or Medical Laboratory Assistant to move into a commercial scientific role involving lead generation, market research and marketing material generation, supporting the field-based sales team. This is a suitable entry-level commercial role in a privately-owned company that offers support and structured development opportunities too.
PRODUCTS: In-vitro diagnostics products, reagents and instrumentation used in microbiology, haematology, point of care, immunology and biochemistry laboratories.
CUSTOMERS: Clinical and Research Laboratories
The role is predominately office-based in Oxfordshire, with opportunities to travel across to customer sites when required.
Communicate with current and prospective customers to understand more about their company and generate leads for the sales team to follow up on.
Checking all technical documentation is correct and accurate.
Working on technical specification for product marketing material.
Attendance at industry networking events, conferences and exhibitions when required.
Educated to Degree level or higher in a life science or related subject
Post degree laboratory experience using IVD products within a Clinical or Research setting
Full UK driving licence
Customer facing/service experience desirable
