Technical Product Owner – Telecoms industry

Must have experience within FTTP, SOADSL or Business Broadband.

Contract outside IR35 £450-500 per day | 12 Months | Immediate start

Position Overview:

As a Technical Product Owner specializing in telecoms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the development of our products and services related to Fiber to the Premises (FTTP), SOADSL, and Business Broadband. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and driven individual to make an immediate impact, with a competitive daily rate outside IR35 and a 12-month duration. This role requires an immediate start and fortnightly travel to our Newbury office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
• Create and maintain a backlog of features, user stories, and technical tasks, prioritizing them based on business value and technical feasibility.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, making decisions on technical aspects of the product.
• Act as the primary point of contact between the technical team and stakeholders, communicating progress, managing expectations, and gathering feedback.
• Plan and prioritize releases, ensuring timely delivery of features and enhancements.
• Define acceptance criteria, conduct testing, and monitor performance to ensure the quality of the product.
• Utilize your expertise in FTTP, SOADSL, and Business Broadband to drive innovation and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in the telecoms industry.
• Strong understanding of telecoms technologies, particularly FTTP, SOADSL, and Business Broadband.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Immediate availability for an immediate start and willingness to travel fortnightly to Newbury.
