We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has experience working with children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing one-to-one support, small group support and working with outside agencies. Ensuring that pupils receive the support they need to succeed both academically and socially.

The ideal candidates will be a patient, compassionate, and empathetic individual who is able to build positive relationships with children and their families. Should have excellent communication and organisational skills, and be able to work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to provide the best possible outcomes for the child.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEND
  • A relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience, empathy, and understanding
  • An ability to work independently and as part of a team
