The Role:

As a 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to a Year 10 girl with SEND, enabling her to excel academically and personally. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with teaching staff to adapt learning materials and strategies to meet the student's individual needs.
  • Establishing a strong rapport with the student, fostering her engagement and confidence in her educational journey.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of the student's Individual Education Plan (IEP).
  • Monitoring the student's progress and delivering regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes the student's well-being.
