Teaching Assistant to support 1:1 with ASD
Randstad Education Liverpool is currently looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated, engaging and caring teaching assistant to provide 1:1 support for two children with ASD at a Primary school in St Helen's. The role is to start after February half term until July but could continue in the new academic year depending on funding.
The successful applicant will:
*have appropriate qualifications and recent experience working in a Primary school
*experience of working with children with ASD
*knowledge of effective strategies that support children with ASD inclusion and development
*have excellent organisational skills
*be committed to high standards of work and behaviour
*have ability to relate to and communicate well with children
*Ability to carry out 1:1 support independantly and carry out assessments.
Previous experience of working as a Teaching Assistant with ASD is essential as well as an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualification.
