The Serco Talent Acquisition team are responsible for hiring people who deliver essential public services in defence, transport, justice, immigration, healthcare, and citizen services.
Following a recent successful bid in our Defence business to extend our service provision at RAF Brize Norton we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Coordinator to support the delivery of a highly specialised volume recruitment campaign in advance of go live in December 2021.
At Brize Norton Serco proudly support the RAF and MoD, supplying around 20 different services onsite, from engine and aircraft maintenance, to fuelling and ground control services.
As an experienced engineering recruitment professional with knowledge of the Defence industry you will play a vital role in sourcing and screening candidates for a variety of highly specialist roles including: Aircraft technicians, Survival equipment technicians, Armourers, Mechanical maintenance technicians, Airfield support & security.
Your role will include facilitating online recruitment events, screening candidates, booking & organising interviews, managing the offer process and well as engaging with our military partnership organisations.
Due to the specialist nature of this recruitment campaign we are seeking candidates who have demonstrable experience recruiting within the Defence/ Engineering sector, either in-house, RPO or recruitment agency.
To be successful in this role you need to be organised, able to plan and prioritize multiple recruitment campaigns, and be a real people person. So, as well as having good verbal and written communication skills you'll be naturally organized and comfortable dealing with a variety of tasks. You'll be speaking with candidates and with other members of the team daily, so you'll need confidence and professionalism even when under pressure.
We use a variety of online tools and technology, so you’ll be happy working with Office 365 applications and can easily turn your hand to online systems and tools, such as ATS technology and video interviewing platforms.
