Systems Engineer Virtualisation VDI VMWare

Systems Engineer (Virtualisation VDI VMWare Horizon vSphere) 6 months to £600 p/day

Do you have expertise with VDI / Virtualisation? You could be joining a global Investment Management firm on a six month initial contract.

As a Systems Engineer you'll join the team responsible for supporting virtual desktop and remote connectivity platforms including ensuring reliability of VDI Access, stability of VDI performance, troubleshooting any problems within the VDI environment and introducing new features and enhancements.

This is a senior, hands-on position where you'll manage stakeholders and collaborate across teams.

Location / WFH:

You'll join the team in the London office three days a week with flexibility to work from home the other two days.

Requirements:

• You have expertise with VMWare technologies including vSphere, ESXi, NSXt and VMWare Horizon View
• You have experience with Application Virtualization in a VDI environment
• You have experience with Desktop Administration
• You have knowledge of AD, LAN, WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, F5, Load Balancing and other network terminologies
• You have scripting skills, PowerShell or Python preferred
• You're collaborative with excellent communication skills
