A Steel Operative / Overhead Crane Operator is required to join a large steel firm located in the Handsworth Birmingham area on a temp to perm basis.

You will be responsible for operating overhead cranes to handle steel, driving a counterbalance forklift truck to manoeuvre stock around the workplace, loading and unloading machinery / vehicles, and more. Your regular duties would include;

• Operating an overhead crane to handle steel
• Driving a counterbalance FLT
• Loading and unloading steel onto machines
• Loading / unloading vehicles for dispatch

To be considered for this role you must be an experienced Overhead Crane Operator / Forklift Driver with recent experience coming from within the steel industry.

Working hours for this role would be straight days -

• 7:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday / 6:30am - 2:30pm Fridays
• Paying - £12.31 per hour
