** SAS and R training opportunities **

  • Established data analytics agency
  • Major brand name projects
  • Small team environment, lots of exposure and influence

This role is a fantastic opportunity for a statistical analyst looking to develop a career in a client facing environment.

As the UK's largest independent Data Communications Group, they work with some of the most recognisable names in Charity, FS and Retail.

As a business, my client sell a customer database to their clients, in addition, combining their own data in order to provide analysis around customer behaviour and in turn improve targeted direct marketing.

You will report into the Senior Analyst who joined the business to build the in-house analytics team, and there is huge opportunity to diversify and develop not only your technical skills but also your exposure to a variety of analytical projects for major brand names.

Technically you will need skills in SQL plus EITHER R, Python or SAS (training will be provided on those tools you have not used) plus you will also employ web analytics tools for manipulating digital data (again, training will be provided).

This is a client facing role, so you need to be comfortable communicating your finding to non-technical stakeholders and working in a solutions focused manner.

Overall, a great 2nd of 3rd role for a statistical analyst looking to develop their stakeholder management AND technical skills.

  • Educated to degree level in a numerate subject
  • Proven experience using SQL to code from scratch, as well as Excel
  • Some experience working with a programming tool such as R, Python or SAS is essential
  • Excellent communication skills in order to liaise with internal stakeholders
  • Comfortable working with large customer data sets (millions of rows)

POSITION - Statistical Insight Analyst

SALARY - £30k - £45k (dependent on experience) plus excellent benefits
