Adecco have an exciting opportunity to join a well established Energy and Services Company in London as a Standard Trading Team Support Analyst on a temporary basis.

£18.97 per hour

Monday - Friday 8.30am - Finish

33 days annual leave (Based on accrual)

Temporary 6 months

Job Description:

As a Trading Team Support Analyst you will be dealing with a high volume of daily tasks plus additional requirements from other departments. You will be providing support to Traders and the Trading Manager in a fast paced environment, completing timely, valid and accurate entry of all trades.

Duties:

? Ensuring trades are entered correctly so that the traders know the P&L and how much has been earned the following day.

? Act as a specialist in deal capture, entry process and systems used for all trading activity within Midstream

? Ensure the timely, valid accurate and complete entry and validation of all trades in the relevant trade capture and nomination systems e.g. Endur, Entreca, EOS, CodeRunner and EuroRunner

? Support the trading teams with position management and reporting capability including managing ad hoc reporting and data requests from Trading and Senior Management and other internal and external stakeholders

? Ensure operational controls are understood, operated effectively and any gaps are identified and closed including working with Senior Trade Support to map the process and ensure the relevant documentation is available on BMS

? Reconcile trade records from one system with another, using relevant recon tools where available to identify any inconsistencies which require action in a timely manner to ensure trade validity and correct position management

? Take ownership of trade queries by working proactively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the end to end life cycle runs smoothly.

? Confidently investigate issues that arise to identify and resolve problems.

? Drive improvement in the operational support activities to ensure that the team is constantly improving and providing proactive support

? Investigate and resolve any anomalies with traders or positions, before the end of the day and communicate any unresolvable issues with Shift Desk during the end of day handover process.

? Front Office point of contact for all counterparties, exchanges and broker queries

? Contribute to IS change on behalf of the trading team in collaboration with the Standard Trading Support Manager, Endur Support, Helpdesk and Structured Trading Support

? Keep up to date on changes to systems, exchanges and rules and the trading environment

? Actively look for ways to assist traders (e.g. analysis, reconciliation and positions) and respond to their ad hoc requests for assistance
