This prestigious Central Government department based in the heart of London are recruiting an experienced SQL Developer to join their expanding team during a time of change and transformation.
This role will be working on a number of key projects they have at the moment, including developing a new system to monitor, track and recommend training for every user across the country.
Your new role
The SQL Developer is involved in all aspects of application design, build and test, primarily for the London and South East region.
By working closely with internal stakeholders, but mainly the Business Intelligence team, you will ensure that all databases and data systems are integrated and working correctly and will also take the lead in designing and implementing ETL processes.
You will do this by supporting requirements gathering from users, User Acceptance Testing, releasing code at various stages and mentor junior members of staff.
What you'll need to succeed
- Strong technical Database, Data Modelling and Data Storage experience
- SQL Server, SharePoint, Office 365
- T-SQL, SSIS, SSRS
- Knowledge of the NHS, healthcare or education sectors would be advantageous
What you'll get in return
- Salary of between £38,000 - £45,000 dependant on experience
